Why are some religions corrupt?

Religion is meant to be good. It starts out that way.

I believe someone with a corrupt mindset (maybe got fed to them from another), started following religion from their mindset, making it corrupt. And they also had no self control, making controlling others acceptable, when it really isn't. Controlling to make people do things, at the point that they will do it, even if it is against the other person’s will. And no wonder many people are living in fear - again, isn't this a fearful mindset?

If people become more aware, thinking "I think what I want" and are being shown a good path too, then yes, society will change if it moves forward in this way!
